The immediate road map of the society, though not exhaustive, include the following initial activities encompassing the focus themes:

• Preparation and circulation of popular science compendium series.
• Organizing ECO (Environment and Climate Olympiad) in Odisha for school students.
• Organizing “Jana Bigyan Jatra” and expert-stakeholder scientific interaction sessions in various clusters of the state on burning issues (like Heatwave, Cyclone, Lightning, Dengue, Malaria, Management of Natural Resources & Wastes etc.)
• Organizing workshops/ seminars/ conferences with integrated participation of academicians, researchers, planners, administrators along with grassroot level activists and common people.
• Publication of a Bilingual (English-Odia) Newsletter/ Magazine/ Journal.
• Identification, Documentation and Felicitation of individuals/ organizations working for science popularization.

ସ୍କୋପସ ସଂଗଠନର ନିକଟ ଭବିଷ୍ୟତ ର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ପନ୍ଥା ଗୁଡିକ ହେଉଛି:

• ଓଡ଼ିଶା ରେ ସ୍କୁଲ ପିଲାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ “ଜଳବାୟୁ ଏବଂ ପରିବେଶ ଅଲମ୍ପିଆଡ” ଆୟୋଜନ।
• ଚିହ୍ନିତ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ବିଷୟ ଉପରେ ଜନ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ପୁସ୍ତକ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ଏବଂ ବିତରଣ
• ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସମସ୍ୟା ଯଥା: ଡେଙ୍ଗୁ, ମାଲେରିଆ, ବଜ୍ରପାତ, ବାତ୍ୟା, ଅଂଶୁଘାତ, ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ବିପର୍ଯ୍ୟୟ, ପରିବେଶ ପ୍ରଦୂଷଣ ଇତ୍ୟାଦି ଉପରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ “ଜନ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଯାତ୍ରା ’ ଏବଂ ଆଲୋଚନା ଚକ୍ର ର ଆୟୋଜନ।
• କନଫରେନ୍ସ ବା ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଅଲୋଚନା ଚକ୍ର ର ଆୟୋଜନ। ଏଥିରେ ଶିକ୍ଷାବିତ, ବୈଜ୍ଞାନିକ, ଗବେଷକ, ବିଶେଷଜ୍ଞ, ପ୍ରଶାସକ, ସାମ୍ବାଦିକ, ସ୍ବେଚ୍ଛାସେବୀ ଏବଂ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ମାନକ ସହିତ ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ର ଯୋଗଦାନ କୁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ କରାଯିବ।
• ଏକ ଦ୍ଵିଭାଷୀ ପତ୍ରିକା ର ପ୍ରକାଶନ ଏବଂ ବିତରଣ। ଏହା ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବିଷୟରେ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ର ସରଳ ପରିଭାଷା ବ ଅବଧାରଣ ଉପରେ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟବେଶିତ ହେବ।
• ବିଜ୍ଞାନ କୁ ଜନ ସାଧାରଣଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ପହଞ୍ଚାଇବା ରେ କାମ କରୁଥିବା ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ବ ସଂସ୍ଥା ମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚିହ୍ନଟ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଲୋକ ଲୋଚନ କୁ ଆଣିବା।
